Band Retreat Overview

Band Retreats at Kamp Kiwanis are a new experience being offered at Kamp Kiwanis. The program is designed for students in grade 7 - 12. Programs run from January - February.

The Band Retreat Program is a new offering at Kamp Kiwanis (as of 2016). We like to think of the Band Retreat Program as a hybrid rental-school program. The Band Retreat program is primarily run by each school with Kamp Kiwanis staff running one block (1.5 hours) a day, as a break to the band rehearsals (led by the school teachers). In addition to the 1.5 hours of programming everyday Kamp Kiwanis also provides accommodation and food.

Kamp Kiwanis offers a variety of outdoor recreation activities. When scheduling your Band Retreat Program, you can choose from a selection of activities to design a program that best matches your curriculum and the needs of your students. The following categories are intended to be a starting place for the discussion about the types of activities that can be offered as a part of your Band Retreat experience.
