Kiwanis Lodge

A rental facility with meeting and dining facilities for 160, and sleeping facilities for 80 people. The building includes attractive hardwood floors in the dining hall and was opened in September, 1996. Kiwanis Lodge is available for rentals throughout the year. During the summer camp season, the dining hall is a shared use facility for rental groups and the Kamp Kiwanis summer program. A new entranceway and upper dining area (with a fireplace) was added to this building in February 2005.

Dining Facilities

The dining hall in Kiwanis Lodge sits up to 160 people. Food Services are provided by Monet Catering, Matthew Prosser, 403-660-3007. Private use of the kitchen by rental groups is not permitted in this building. The menu is negotiated between our Chef and the coordinators from every rental group.

Meeting Facilities

Kiwanis Lodge includes 7 meeting rooms that each seat between 7-80 people. The dining hall is also often used as a meeting room.

Sleeping Facilities

A total of 15 bunkrooms are included in Kiwanis Lodge. Each bedroom sleeps between 2-12 people on wood frame bunkbeds with vinyl covered mattresses. Seven of the bunkrooms have private ensuite showers and bathrooms, while the other 8 bunkrooms have shared, private bathroom and shower facilities.

Kiwanis Lodge is a two storey building with an elevator and many environmental features. It houses the administrative offices of Kamp Kiwanis Calgary.
