Easthope Lodge
A rental facility with meeting, dining and sleeping facilities for 26 people. This cabin is often used as an annex to Kiwanis Lodge because of its proximity. It includes attractive hardwood floors in the dining hall, and was opened in September, 1997. This building is available for rentals year round. Dining Facilities - 'Earth Education Lounge'The 'Earth Education dining hall' in Easthope Lodge sits up to 24 people. Food Services can be provided by Monet Catering, Matthew Prosser, 403-660-3007. However many groups using Easthope Lodge decide to do their own cooking. All necessary cooking supplies are provided including pots, dishes, cutlery, stove, oven, dishwasher, and refridgerator. If Kamp Kiwanis provides meals, the menu is negotiated between our Chef and the coordinators from every rental group. Meeting FacilitiesEasthope Lodge has one meeting room - the Earth Education Lounge - named in honour of The Institute for Earth Education - a non profit, charitable organisation that develops environmental learning programs that are offered at Kamp Kiwanis Calgary to Calgary and area schools. During periods of warm weather, a large attached outside deck may also comfortably be used as a meeting space. This building is designed for smaller groups or groups that use it as an annex to Kiwanis Lodge. Sleeping FacilitiesA total of 6 bunkrooms are included in Easthope Lodge. Each bedroom sleeps 4-5 people on wood frame bunkbeds with vinyl covered mattresses. There are 26 beds available in Easthope Lodge. Easthope Lodge is a two storey building, with many environmental features. It is available year round. Groups using Easthope Lodge have access to the 'Ancient Forest' campfire circle.
